The webinar provides the opportunity to hear from pastoralist James Walker, Camden Park Station, fifth-generation farmer from Longreach, Queensland and the Kondinin Group 2017 Award winner for Excellence in Diversification about how he manages seasonal risk in his business. James runs a meat and wool sheep and agists cattle, on 18,000 acres (7300 hectares) in central western Queensland. Average rainfall of 150—380 mm/annum

Also presenting is Darren Ray, Senior Climatologist for the Bureau of Meteorology sharing his knowledge on weather patterns and the tools available to help navigate through “Managing Seasonal Risk”
